The threat of a most untimely downpour at the start of their March 26th afternoon wedding was apparently no match for our clients, Christina and Chelsea, who seemingly dispatched the rain by force of will after a fleeting cloudburst. The two striking, poised and charismatic young women chose the beautiful lakeside ambience of Paradise Cove Orlando to celebrate their nuptials - a distinctively scenic venue we love and where we have catered many noteworthy events. The happy pair
seemed to be delighted by the setting and the company of their friends and loved ones.
The couple planned a wonderfully relaxed wedding and reception - and suggested their guests dress in a "beach formal" mode. In Paradise Cove's semi-tropical setting on the edge of Lake Bryan, complete with themed tiki bar and white sand beach, they set a perfect tone. The two brought together their great friends, loved ones and pair of pooches and, true to theme, put their toes in the wet sandy beach. Their guests were shown the full beach experience too, since Christina and Chelsea placed their reception dining area right on the sand that adjoins Paradise Cove's covered wedding reception pavilion. We did not mind getting a little sand in our own shoes for this very good cause.
Two talented pianist/singers entertained guests from under the pavillion roof. A noteworthy moment was a wonderful live vocal performance by a friend of the couple, following the introduction of the wedding party. Immediately following the wedding ceremony, we provided a cocktail service at the tiki bar, including wine and beer on tap. And we served the mingling guests appetizers that included chicken quesadillas, tomato basil bruschetta, and buffalo chicken dip crostinis. The couple planned a reception dinner menu with our chef Todd that included penne pasta with fresh marinara sauce, roast turkey with rosemary lemon gravy, braised beef tips in cabernet sauce, fresh sauteed green beans, roasted trio potatoes and mixed green salad.

Paradise Cove Orlando's own Kayli Benjamin (Coleman) performed the wedding coordination, who, we seem to recall, walked the aisle on her home turf here just nine days earlier.
